Ohio National Guard Opens COVID-19 Test Site in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The National Guard and Ohio Department of Health will staff a totally free -19 screening site that will open to the general on Tuesday, December 21.

The on-site drive-through tests will happen in the garage of the WO Walker Building in University Circle at 10524 Euclid Avenue.

The test site is open from Tuesday, December 21 to Sunday, December 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The trial center is closed on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25th.

Further opening times and can be revealed in the future.

No consultation is needed, however you need to sign up in advance of arrival.

Select Ohio, then look for the Walker Center area. You can select whether you are a Clinic or University Hospital client, or neither.

You do not require a medical professional’s prescription for the test.

The site will use PCR screening and the outcomes will be in 2 to 3 days.

Masks are needed on site.

Hospital authorities stated there is presently a rise in -19 infections, Greater health center systems will restrict -19 screening in emergency clinic to clients all set for hospitalization.

The modification will work Tuesday, December 21, at all Clinic, University Hospitals, CityHealth System, and St. Vincent Charity Medical Center places.
